Welcome to the January Newsletter!

Although it seems forever ago now, we hope you’ve all had a lovely Christmas and a very happy New Year so far! We hope you liked the cards from your dogs at Christmas and that they all go thoroughly spoilt! It’s been a very busy start to the new year for us. We are constantly looking for new ways to improve the service to both our human and canine customers and we’ve got absolutely loads planned for 2019! We’ll be sending out newsletters on a regular basis to keep you informed. We’ve also got lots of fun and games planned for your furbabies in the coming year. There are quite a few changes from to let you know about and I’ve provided details within this newsletter. If you have any concerns or questions about any of these changes, please don’t hesitate to give me a call. With the weather turning much colder, we may have to close on days where we feel it’s unsafe for the dogs to be with us – we’ll post on the FB group if we have to make that decision. Make sure you keep you and your furbabies safe at this time of year, a paw wipe after a walk will help avoid any issues with salt and antifreeze chemicals from the road – and if it’s really really cold – think about a quick run around the garden instead of going out.

CRECHE NEWS

NEW FLOORING We know there have been some issues with the floor recently – we have to use dog friendly paint and unfortunately the wet weather we’ve been having has caused some of the paint to transfer onto the dogs paws. Whilst it’s non toxic paint, no-one wants a green dog so we’re having the floor re coated!

NEW WEBSITE & BOOKING SYSTEM We are in the throes of finalising our new website. This will make booking into crèche much simpler. Once it’s up and running you will be able to book your place and make payment online. You’ll also be able to reserve our field if you wish to and book onto training courses with our Academy online too! We’re aiming to have the new site launched by the end of February at the latest.

STOPPING PICK UPS & DROP OFFS Due to being so busy unfortunately we are also no-longer able to offer a collection and drop off service for your dogs. We appreciate that this change might make it very difficult for some of our customers to use our services but it is unfortunately unavoidable. We will honour pickup’s that have been prepaid until the payments have run out.

ACANA DOG FOOD For quite a while I’ve been looking for a dog food that is good enough that I would be happy to feed it to my own dogs but is economical enough that we can all afford to feed it to our dogs all the time. I’m delighted to tell you that from January we are an official re seller of Acana dog food which is an award winning, grain free, high quality food. Even better, because it’s such good quality, you don’t need to feed as much of it which makes it comparable price wise to pet shop dog foods….but is so much better for your furbaby! We will have samples available for you, as well as more information in reception so if you would like to try it – feel free to ask!
